1.For example, if you have the demo running with the mmWave Demo Visualizer, you must reset the device (using the NRST button on the EVM) before attempting to send a .cfg file via teraterm or python application.
my answer: The NRST button is pressed before sending the .cfg file.
2.When you say that there is no response after sending the .cfg file, do you just mean that there is no data output?
my answer: From IWR1443BOOST, there is no response (not a single character is returned) and the program ends with a timeout.
3,As the cfg file is sent do you see the device responding with "Done" after each command, including the sensorStart command?

4.Can you please also let me know the exact location of the demo firmware that you have loaded to the device?
my nswer: We are currently running the firmware as it was shipped from the factory.
