Can I use the AWR1642 (I only have this by the way) for measuring the True Ground Speed? If so, how can I do it?

Hi Josh,

In Radar Toolbox, True Ground Speed (ti.com) demo is applicable only for xWRL1432 and xWRL6432. You can port this application to support AWR1642 demo.

Hi Josh,

To run a demo which is developed for xWRL1432, you need to make changes to it such that you can run it using AWR1642. AWR1642 does not have Hardware Accelerator (HWA) whereas AWRL1432 has HWA. So, it is not straight forward to use this demo on AWR1642. If you need more details, I can reassign this thread to the person who worked on this demo.

Unfortunately, for AWR1642 we don't have a demo that supports True Ground Speed Measurement.

yes, it is possible but it requires good knowledge of development on the AWR1642 platform.

Ohh okay, glad to know it's possible. There's probably a person going to ask you about it in the near future as they will be the one going to modify the python code for the GUI because I don't have the slightest idea on how python works. Thanks.
