AWR2E44PEVM: Will the AWR2944EVM demos work on the AWR2E44PEVM board?

There doesn't seems to be any demos for the AWR2E44PEVM board and I was wondering if the AWR2944EVM demos would work. Chips should be compatible, board layout looks similar but I can't tell how different the boards are.

Hello Gregory,

Sorry for the delayed response, you can use the SDK: MMWAVE-MCUPLUS-SDK Software development kit (SDK) | TI.com, supports for the P variant as well.

Thank you. I have the SDK and just received the board. Let me be more specific about the question. I just wanted to confirm that all of the demo programs intended for the AWR2944EVM board will also run on the AWR2E44PEVM board. I don't know if there are differences between the boards other than the antenna.

Hello Gregory,

This wont be a straight forward way to use the AWR2944EVM demo on the P boards.
For this please refer the documents:

1) "C:\ti\mmwave_mcuplus_sdk_04_07_00_01\mmwave_mcuplus_sdk_04_07_00_01\docs\mmwave_mcuplus_sdk_release_notes.pdf"

2) "C:\ti\mmwave_mcuplus_sdk_04_07_00_01\mmwave_mcuplus_sdk_04_07_00_01\docs\mmwave_mcuplus_sdk_user_guide.pdf"

This helps explain the migration from the AWR2944 to the AWR2E44EVM as well.
