AWR1243: External trigger and sync in 2chip cascade solution

Hi team,

Customer wants to use 2x 2 chips 1243 cascade is one system. As the diagram shown below.

The set A and set B 20GH LO is separated. But customer wants to trigger this 2 system at the same time(Start TX / ADC sampling at the same time).

set-a and set-b share the same SYNC and 40MHz.

Is it possible for 1243 work in this mode? And how to configure 1243's register in this application.

SYNC control is possible here to trigger all at same time and clock for SET-B will be enabled only when Master is up and channelConfig is done for SET-A Master.
But can you provide more info what is the purpose of this connection, then we can provide better solution and we'll make sure that customer is not driving in wrong direction.

Hi Jitendra,

Is it means both set-a and set-b can work in same external HW trigger mode?
Then customer can control AWR1243's trigger by using external sync?

If we just talk about HW trigger/external sync then each master/slave can be trigger by ext. HW pulse.
But there may be other complexity that depends on full picture of use case and hardware connection.
