Hi Sir,

I want to clarify if the resolution is related to the dynamic range, isn’t it?

If not, which factor determine the dynamic range? (opt3001 spec[0~83000lux])

    Hi Driscoll,

    Resolution is a separate spec from dynamic range and dynamic range is 0.01 - 83k lux. Resolution is 0.01 lux in 800ms conversion mode and lowest range setting. If you used 800ms conv time and auto range setting mode then you get the full dynamic range as the device will selected the best range setting for each measurement.
