TMP100-Q1: I2C SCL SDA pull up to a voltage less than the supply voltage

Can the TMP100-Q1 SCL and SDA pins be pulled up to a voltage lower than the V+ chip supply pin? Section 9.2.1 of the datasheet mentions "The SCL, SDA, and ALERT lines can be pulled up to a supply that is equal to or higher than VS through the pullup resistors.", but not if there is a lower limit for the SCL and SDA pull up voltages.

The lower limit for TMP100-Q1 SCL and SDA pullup voltage is set by the input logic level ratings of 0.7 x VDD logic high and 0.3 x VDD low.

Hi Oren,

Yes, the SCL and SDA pins can be pulled up to a voltage lower than the V+ supply pin. You will need to be sure that the input logic levels are still obeyed as you mentioned "input logic level ratings of 0.7 x VDD logic high and 0.3 x VDD low".
