Hi,

Which mmWave visualizer should be used for ODS point cloud demo with IWR6843ISK-ODS ES2.0?

Demo path: C:\ti\mmwave_industrial_toolbox_4_2_1\labs\out_of_box_demo\68xx_ods_point_cloud_demo\src\ods_point_cloud_68xx_hwa.projectspec

Below link only supports sdk 3.2, but not SDK 3.3 for IWR6843 ES2.0.

Hi Chris,

The ODS point cloud lab works with mmWave Demo Visualizer (IWR6843AOP) as mentioned in the user guide. Additionally, there are special considerations wrt running this demo as mentioned in the user guide. I have attached snapshots below but please make sure that you read the user guide.

Thanks for your help! I understood that the incorrect SDK version info will not affect the demo.

I am getting an error that reports the SDK version does not match.

I am using the pre-built binary from Industrial Toolbox 4.2.1 and the GUI linked in the user guide: https://dev.ti.com/gallery/view/mmwave/mmWave_Demo_Visualizer_IWR6843AOP/ver/1.0.0/.

I get the error

SDK input version [major, minor] = [3,2] not matching [3,3] reported by target.

The other mmWave Demo Visualizer has an IWR6843AOP platform, but that only supports SDK 3.4. Where can I find a binary file for the 6843 ODS using SDK 3.4, or a visualizer that works with SDK 3.3?

Just ignore this error and go ahead to load config manual in the AOP visualizer v1.0.0.

Hi Andrew,

As Chris mentioned, please load the provided config file in the AOP Visualizer and run the demo. The SDK version mismatch error as well as the complete procedure to run this demo are documented in the user guide. I have also highlighted these in the above response in the same thread.
