Hi Lawrence,

Nothing specific to OPT3001 but you will have to work within the limits of the I2C spec. OPT3001 datasheet includes needed timing is using fast or high speed mode. For standard mode this can be found in i2c spec. Rise and fall time will depend on line capacitance and pull up resistor value. This doc may help https://www.ti.com/lit/an/slva689/slva689.pdf
