Hi,
Is it possible to use gtrack sample code (6843) for other MCU or CPU (e.g., 1243 or 2243)?
If yes, how to do the modification or are there any related documents?
Thanks.

Hello Silvia,
It should be possible to run this algorithm on an external CPU with the 2243. Please see the documentation for implementing the gtrack algorithm at the link below. (note the toolbox version may be different than below). You will need the pointcloud data as an input to the tracker as is, so you will need to generate this info.

Additionally, please see the following training on the full processing chain for the SDK components used by gtrack.

Jackson
Thank you Jackson.
Is it possible to run gtrack algorithm on any other processors that are not from TI?
If yes, can it be implemented in linux? Or how to do the porting?
Hi Silvia,
In general, the gtrack algorithm can be ported to any processor, but there may be significant effort in switching processors, or out of an embedded environment into a Linux environment. Certainly possible as long as you have the point cloud data as an input, but the memory allocation and other embedded specific commands will need to be updated.

Jackson
Hi Jackson,
Thank you for the explanation.
Are there any specific guidelines about switching processors?
Hi Silvia,
We do not have any specific guidelines on porting the algorithm to other processors, except what is given in the documentation about the function of the algorithm above and on the TI Resource Explorer.

Jackson
