TMP461: Changing POR defaults

Are you asking about the default values of the registers after a power is applied / POR or the threshold voltage at which the POR occurs?

Thanks Brandon. Do you have any sensors that are rad-hardened that have EEPROM  that can be programmed with new POR register values?    The main reason I was looking at the tmp461 is because I need a device thats rad-hardened.

We do not have any parts in our catalog right now that are both Radiation Hardened and allow for user set POR values.

Are you able to elaborate a little on your use case? For example, are you wanting the device to powerup with different temperature limits than the TMP461 defaults?

Basically I'd like to use the TMP461 or other device to make a programmable solid state thermostat for space applications.

I'd use it to drive a FET  to turn on and off a heater.

Ideally I could program the  setpoints before its installed so it could be used for a surival heater and does not require other electronics on the spacecraft to program the setpoint.

For operational heater  programming the setpoints during flight would acceptable, but that would be less desirable for a survival heater.

It would be great to have one design for thermostats  that  you could just burn in the desired setpoint/hysteresis and install it.
