TDC7200: TDC7200 REGISTERS CONVERSION

I wanted to ask what format are the data of the registers read from 10 h to 1C h and then convert them into decimal, as it seems to me that it is not indicated in the manual.
I also wanted to ask if any of the users have a TDC1000-TDC7200EVM card that they don't use to sell, maybe it's not the right place to ask but I'm desperate, there aren't any and mine is broken

Hello Massimo,

The data is read in 24 SCLK cycles, at every rising edge of SCLK. The data is collected from most-significant bit (MSB) to least-significant bit (LSB). The decimal conversion can be handled in code once received.

Unfortunately the TDC1000-TDC7200EVM is no longer available for purchase. The TDC1000 and TDC7200 are products that we still have available on our website, if either of those units are damaged you may be able to replace the IC's with new ones. I may be able to suggest alternative devices if you can describe your application for the EVM.

thanks for the answer, but how should the data be converted? Type fixed-point number with 12 integer and 12 fractional digits? or integer? or power of 2 ? the manual does not seem described.

Hello Massimo,

Sorry I must have misunderstood your question, but they are stored as 23 bit integers this can be found in section 8.6 of the data sheet under register maps.
