TMUX1108: Questions about analog multiplexers

Part Number: TMUX1108

Hi Experts,

May I ask for help? Our customer use an analog multiplexer (tmux1108) to connect multiple frequency signals (10MHZ). He said:

"I use the software to open three channels, but only for two channels of signals, but the third channel has nearly 0.9M signal, this is why

I have another message. When my software turns on three channels, but only gives one channel signal, the signals of the other two channels are very small (0 or a few Hz)."

I hope you can help us. Thank you.

Kind regards,
Gerald

  • Hi Gerald,

This device only allows one channel to be active at a time. It is an 8:1 multiplexer which uses the address inputs to select a single channel to be connected to the output at a given instance. If you would like to connect multiple channels at the same time to an output, I would advise looking into our 1:1 switches for this type of functionality (take a look at the TMUX1112 as an example device that could be used). Note that you would need to short the outputs together to achieve the functionality you are looking for.

    Thanks!
