SN74CBTLV3245A: question for 5ns pulse

Hi Expert, 

There are two solution that customer chosed.

One is SN74CBTLV16212GR, the other one is SN74CBTLV3245APWR.

The question is if they have 5ns pulse need transfer from input to output, is the solution that they chose could accept this pulse?

Or this 5ns pulse would be filter by this two solution.

I saw both devices bandwidth is 200MHz. 

please help to comments here.

    Hey Mark,

    I wouldn't recommend a 200MHz bandwidth part for a 5ns pulse. This would probably get close to be filtered out. The bandwidth is the -3dB bandwidth so if you start working at the upper edge of the BW you'll find that while there may be some signal output, the degradation may be too large to work with, depending on the use case.
    Typically we recommend a part that has 1.5-3x bw of the frequency you'll be working with.
    So something like the SN74CB3Q3345 could be a good fit here. Bandwidth is 500MHz.
