TMUX646EVM: Switches & multiplexers forum

Part Number: TMUX646EVM
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMUX646

Hi All,

I would like to ask what should be the best VDD for low leakage measurements of the TMUX646 IO's when applying 1.3V/0C on each one of them?

I've measured very high leakages (few mA) when applying VDD=5V and VDD=1.8V, at hot temperatures.

Does anyone have the excepted leakages values of TMUX646 IOs at hot temperatures?

Thanks!

  • Hi Nitay,

There should be no circumstance that the TMUX646 would see mA's worth of leakage current on the I/O pins. Either the channel is on and there is some sort of active loading or the device is damaged. Of course, at hot temperature the leakage current will increase, but will be within the bounds as defined by the datasheet (50uA maximum).

In terms of worst case, this typically occurs when there iare higher voltages on the I/O's, so this would correlate to the 5V or 5.5V use case.

    Thanks,

    Bryan
