Hi,

We are using TS12A4516 part in our design, providing 5V to V+ and gnd to V-.

Our doubt is Whether we can connect gnd to V- or not, because the datasheet says it is a dual supply IC.

Help me clear this up.

Hello Nandra,

The TS12A4516 part can not be used in single supply situations. We do not spec it and cannot confirm any data about its operation in single supply .

However, we do have the TS5A4594 which will be a better fit into your design based on the information you provided. It is the same configuration and channel count but is used for single supply applications.
