TMUX6236: Datasheet Package Pinout not corresponding with data in pinout Table, (chapter: 4 Pin configuration and functions)

This post is made to warn designers wanting to use the TMUX6236 as there is an error in the datasheet.
The datasheet was downloaded though the TI website via this link: https://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/tmux6236.pdf?ts=1707141302799  on 06-febr-2024

I have marked the errors I have found in the WQFN package, but I have seen errors also in the TSSOP package. see screenshot below.

I would appreciate if the datasheet can be corrected.

On the page of the TMUX6236 the TMUX7236 is stated to be a drop-in replacement of the TMUX6236

The TMUX7236 seems to have a matching chip pinout with the pinout stated in the datasheet, I assume this is also the pinout that should have been shown in the datasheet of the TMUX6236. But confirmation of which one is correct would be appreciated.

    Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We will correct the pinout mistakes ASAP.

    Also, yes you are correct. The TMUX7236 datasheet has the correct pin layout and should have been the same as in the datasheet of the TMUX6236.

    The TMUX7236 is a drop in replacement for the TMUX6236.
