Tool/software:
Hello,
I have a plane using TMUX646 for gimbal camera of drones.
So I have to calculate power margin.
Could you please to explain on how to calculate of TMUX646 power consumption?
If I should use this, I will set it up like this :
-. Supply voltage : 1.8V or 3.3V
-. Input MIPI A : CLK 1 lane + Data 4 lane (2.5Gbps/lane)
-. Input MIPI B : CLK 1 lane + Data 4 lane (2.5Gbps/lane)
-. Output MIPI : CLK 1 lane + Data 4 lane (2.5Gbps/lane)
Thank you~!
IDD is negligible. The switch itself actively consumes power only when you toggle the /OE or SEL pins at a high frequency; I guess you are not doing this.
A closed switch behaves like a 6 Ω resistor, so the power dissipation inside the switch depends on the current through the switch.
