Differences between TI USB 2.0 or UART switches TS3USB221/A/E, TS3USB3000, or TS3USB30E?

TI offers several USB switches that can provide you with the functionality you require of switching USB 2.0 and UART signals for debug.

The TS3USB3000, TS3USB221x, and TS3USB30x family of devices are all 2-channel SPDT USB switches that could switch the D+ and D- USB signals.  Choosing between these devices will be dependent on the supply voltage rails available in your system, the voltage swing you would like to pass through the device, and the parameter you would like to optimize (performance, size, cost).

Highest Performance:  The TS3USB3000 is the higher performing USB switch  touting its 6.1 GHz bandwidth, Over-Voltage Tolerant, and Current leakage protection.

Smallest Package:  The TS3USB30 and TS3USB30E have the smallest QFN package. (2.5 mm^2)

Value line:  The TS3USB221, TS3USB221A, and TS3USB221E are the low cost solutions for these types of switches.  The difference between the three are the increasing levels of ESD protection they can provide the system.  This thread explains the differences between the TS3USB221/A/E in more detail.
