Hi,

Regarding Audio over type-C application, we have TS5USBA224 as USB/Audio mux and Ts3A26746E as MIC/GND 2x2 switch.  Now my customer need something different as a 1:2 MUX between SBU1 and AGND  (also for used between SBU2 and MIC).

Do we have suitable solution for this?

    I would check out this USB Type C audio reference design and blog post for more information.


    Is there any requirements and spec which is cared about by the customer for the 1:2 switch . there are numerous solutions with TI with Vcc , channels , speed considerations . SN74LVC1G3157 / TS5A3157 for single 1:2 switch .

    Hi Shreyas,

    The MUX is used for AUX pins of display mode. After checking DP spec, the rate is up to 720MHz for DP1.2. Do you think it's ok to use TS3DS26227? Can it be used to switched between analog microphone and DP AUX pin?

    Antony,

    Yes, the TS3DS26227 device can support 720MHz and it is a 2 channel 1:2 mux.

    You can also look at the several USB switches that are high bandwidth 2 channel 1:2 mux like the TS3USB3000, TS3USB221, TS3USB30E.
