Hello,
I trying to select an analog switch that switches between 5V/2A and 5V/1A inputs. I was thinking of TS12A12511 5-Ω Single-Channel SPDT Analog Switch or TS5A9411.
my question is the part motioned above can handle that much current if not can please suggest a solution or different part.
Thank you for your help in advance.
Dino
Dino,
The current capability of the signal switches are listed in the absolute maximum ratings table. The TS12A12511 will handle up to 50mA.
The signal switches covered in this forum are low power switches typically 10-500 mA. I would recommend posting on the load switches forum to find devices that can support higher currents .
Thank you,
Adam
