I am looking for a dual host multiplexer (so that to allow two hosts to share same peripheral) with the following specs:
1. Possibly multiple supply (but single supply will also do)
2. Clock frequency up to 50MHz from application side
3. Package as small as possible
4. No internal pull R.
5. Low Iq
Thanks in advance
Alessio
Surfer,
I'm not familiar with the eMMC standard and do not know how many signals you would like to switch from 2 locations to 1 location. When I looked at some embedded multi media card interfaces (eMMC) like a secure digital (SD) card on google, it showed that many of these cards have 6 signals 4 data bits, a clock, and a command line. If these are the 6 signals you are looking to switch than we need to use the TI.com search tool to search for at least a 6 channel 2:1 switch.
These are the 22 different >6 channel, 2:1 switches TI currently offers and I sorted the results on package size least to greatest. What do you think about the TS3A27518E?
I also searched the switches and multiplexers e2e and found a post about eMMC pull up resistors and SD card applications.
TS3A27518E: Do I need Pull-up resistor on signal path for eMMC applications?
Thank you,
Adam
