TMUX1208: Looking for 1:8 demux part with 1.8V logic compatible

I need your help to find out the right solution for mux/demux solution. Now, I am looking for 1:8 demux part with 1.8V logic compatible to reduce # of IO for FPGA. Actually, we promoted SN74CBTLV3251 but customer wants to use 1.8V supply device instead.

When I looked for a demux solution, I found that even though the description of this device in the datasheet says 8:1 mux, TMUX1208 can support 1:8 demux function because this device can support bi-directional signal path.

I think, it can also be used for the demux configuration as well on the customer use case. The concept is to use demux for SCLK (SPI interface) signal control.   

So, I wonder if TMUX1208 can support this kind of configuration. 

Would you please verify if TMUX1208 is right the device for this solutions? If not, would you please recommend a good solution to support this configuration?

    The TMUX1208 device is bi directional so it can be used as an 8:1 or 1:8 device. 

    The TMUX1208 also can support supply voltage between 1.08 and 5.5 V and can be used with several different power rails across many different projects.  

    The TMUX1208 can support 1.8 V control logic signals so you don't need to use a level shifter.
