Yes, you can get a 90 day extension. You can use the same steps as if you were applying for an extension for v4
The same v4 license will work for v5.

I followed the steps of getting a 90 extension license. Under CCSV5, it is "Help->Code Composer Studio Licensing Information", then I chose "Upgrade" and then pressed on "Launch License Setup...", then i chose the first radio button on the next page, specified the license file path and open it and clicked on finish. Nothing happened after I did all these. The license status shows "1 day remaining".
Any suggestions??

I think CCS should pick up the new license after the old one expires. Let me know if this does not happen.
