Hello,
I have the save problem as melon.
I'm trying to connect TMS320F2812 board with ccs V4 ( ver 4.1.2.00027) using XDS510USB on Win7.
After that I execute Target- Launch TI Debugger and Debug window shows up.
Then I execute "Connect Target" but CCS v4 suddenly closed and error message shows up as below.

They are works fine with CCS4.1 on XP.
MY XDS510USB and TMS320F5402 board works fine with CCS4.1 on Win7.

Hi,
Unfortunately these issues seem to happen at random throughout the different people's PC configurations, therefore may I suggest you to try the workarounds in the posts below?

Note: if you decide to upgrade your version of CCS, check with your emulator vendor the availability of device drivers for the newer version (4.1.3 and newer require updated device drivers).
Hope this helps,
Rafael
