CODECOMPOSER: Is there any performance/memory optimization improvement between CCS 12.2 and CCS 12.7.1 for Cortex-R5F and C66x?

We're using mmWave device which comprises Cortex-R5F and C66x.

We're evaluating to migrate from CCS 12.2 to CCS 12.7.1.

Before doing migration, we would like to know:

Is there any performance/memory optimization improvement in CCS 12.7.1 and we can get benefit from upgrading CCS?

CCS 12.2 : TI ARM Clang 2.1.2 , C66 compiler v8.3.12

CCS 12.7.2 : TI ARM Clang 3.2.2 , C66 compiler v8.3.12
