Hi Folks:
This may be a clue to the problem:
When I used the licensing panel on CCS I first clicked on Free DSP license.
But I couldn't tell whether I would be able to work with MSP430 (Limited memory) if I chose DSP.
So I then clicked on MSP430 limited license because I also have to work with MSP430 which I've been doing for three years.
Then changed my mind again and decided that I would use the DSP license after all and clicked on that.
I was very careful to see that the little dot appeared in the DSP choice button the second time I clicked it but since CCS now presents me at every turn with MSP430
examples, aides etc., I'm wondering if the licensing system did not re-read the little button after I changed back to DSP from MSP.
So how do I set it back to DSP if that is the problem?
Larry
Larry,
DSP and MSP use different free license models. If you click on my name and start a private conversation I can send you a license file that will work for this.

John
