about CCSV4 debug problem

Hi Kent,

could you please provide a bit further detail on your setup?

- What CCS version are you using (Note a v4 license will not work with v5.  These are licensed separately)  If you have a valid subscription or are using the XDS100 for example you should be able to freely migrate to v5.

- What type of license have you been/are you using?  How have you set this license up?

- What target/hardware do you use?

- CCS  Version: 4.2.5.00005

- has attched licensed file, file type has changed to *.txt for this web server limitation, you can replaced it to *.lic

- use Signum debug tool(JET - C2000), and used simulated board of SEED_DEC2812, DSP chip is TMS320F2812.

- Also when I debug one project, it will alarm the error message, listed below picture.

Hi Kent,

so are you using the free limited license?  This will not work with the SEED emulator.   Have you ever used the trial license?  Could you please try that if not or contact me with a friend request so I can send you a 30 day trial license.  Do you remember what you set up the very first time you ran CCS?  I assume you do not have a purchased license?

I actived this license from your TI web site, the speed is not so fast when I run the CCS, and it has show licensed state of this CCS, I don't know why.

could you please explain in more detail exactly what you are doing?  Did you purchase a license?  So not using SEED it shows licensed?  I am not sure what you mean here.  Do you mean you originally had a trial license?  Did it expire?

I didn't have trial license before, if possible, could you please send me one trial license, I want to  check it in my computer and CCS, to understand what's problem there, the license I have now  is send by third part, we purchase their some simulated tool.
