Hi all,
is it possible to get an upgrade form CCS v3.3 to v5 ?
I have some licenes for CCS 3.3 and i would need licenes for v 5.
Is it only this price list? ti.com/tool/ccstudio
or exists some way to make an upgrade from 3.3 to save some money ??
Sebastian,
I am not aware of a specific update pricing for existing CCSv3.3 users without an active subscription (the yearly renewal that allowed CCSv3.3 users to be eligible to free upgrades), therefore the price list you sent before is accurate.
When deciding the license purchasing, please consider there are also options for free licenses (that are tied to the type of board and emulator used) and floating licenses (installed in a server and shared via network across the company), this last option increases the convenience for multiple geographic locations or across large teams. Details are shown in the pages below:

Hope this helps,
Rafael
Hi,
I just recalled something: there is a slim chance your CCSv3.3 licenses are current - i.e., you purchased a license renewal subscription within one year (just before the release of CCSv5 in Nov 1st, 2011). In this case you are eligible for a free upgrade.
To check if your current CCSv3.3 licenses are active you need to write to the e-mail address mentioned in the FAQ below:
The price of a full CCSv5 individual license is lower than the price of the former subscription for CCSv3.3 (US$445.00 for a single-seat download-only), thus you would not be in any disadvantage.
Cheers,
Rafael
