I have read that it is not compatible. I downloaded 5.2 BIOS and tried to build with it but got errors that I am working through. I am able to build successfully with 5.41 BIOS.
Hi David,
yes we very strongly recommend going to at the very least BIOS 5.4 as you seem to have also found/read.
Unfortunately you may be able to, at your own discrection, try to get 5.2 working for a build only but we can not guarantee compatibility with that quite old version.
Are you seeing build or integration errors? As mentioned there is only very limited help we can offer here.
Best Regards,
Lisa
Hi Lisa,
Thanks for your quick response.
The errors I get when I build are:
Description Resource Path Location Type
#10010 errors encountered during linking; "C:/NG EM Controller Firmware 5900 EM main C/C++ Problem
<a href="file:/C:/ti/ccsv5/tools/compiler/dmed/HTML/10234.html">#10234-D</a> unresolved symbols remain 5900 EM main C/C++ Problem
unresolved symbol _HWI_D_inhwi, first referenced in C:\NG 5900 EM main C/C++ Problem
unresolved symbol _SWI_D_inswi, first referenced in C:\NG 5900 EM main C/C++ Problem
The DSP we are using (C6727) has BIOS 5.2 burned into the ROM. We want to continue to use this since it frees up internal RAM that we use for optimization.
David
Hi David,
hmm there are a couple things you might be able to try.
1)Double check your include paths and options (a potential cause of such an error)

2) Try to move things away from folder with a space
