When installing, I get the following error message during "Installing jre_1.6.0_13.zip ...":
Install Verification
Installer failed to install Java Runtime correctly. The 2 most common reasons for failure are:
1: Anti-virus on your computer could have impeded the executable.
2. Download is corrupted.
(...)
The install log ends with the following:
03/11/2013 14:27:57PM - couldn't unzip jre_1.6.0_13.zip:
CreateFile() error 32 when trying set file time
I already have Java 2 Runtime Environment International 1.6.0_37 installed. Why does the installer even try to install an older version? Can I bypass this?
Hi Stian,
unfortunately, you will indeed need that specific version.
The message, as stated, is likely from permissions or antivirus issues. Have you had a chance to double check these? Would you be able to send the installation logs? They are normally in the isntalljammer registry directory (a hidden folder under program files or program files(x86).
Best Regards,
Lisa
HI Stian,
we just wanted to reiterate this seems likely to be antivirus. Please disable it if at all possilbe and keep us informed. Unfortunately I am not sure whether this means helps from IT in your case but that is the best thing to try here.

Lisa
Hi, I checked with the security manager, and I am not allowed to install a previous possibly insecure version of Java. Does Uniflash rely on some specific functionality that's removed from newer versions of Java?
Hi Stian,
unfortunately there is no work around. Java is installed as part of both uniflash and ccs.
I am not sure what I might be able to further suggest. Did you try temporary antivirus disabling?
Best Regards,
Lisa
Are you sure that it is not possible to use the newest version of Java, which is already installed? I was not allowed to disable anti-virus in order to downgrade to an insecure version of Java.
Hi Stian,
unfortunately not. Appologies as I understand your situation and the inconvenience.
All the best.
Best Regards,
Lisa
I understand. I hope you will considering allowing installations without Java in future releases, as we want to use this tool both for production and engineering. On a side note, is serial programming for 2809 supported in newer versions?
Hi Stian,
no worries. Can I request you post new questions as a new post with more clarification? (What do you mean by "serial programming" ... ie what tool, emulator, file format)
Uniflash I believe supports what you are asking for example:

O.K. I have same ploblem.
But, it is a matter of the installed package path. Maybe, you should reduce the length of the path or remove some special characters like as '[' in the path.
When I unpack the CCS program in "D:\[DownLoad]\[SETUP]\CCS5.5.0.00077_win32\ccs_setup_5.5.0.00077.exe", the same problem takes place. It may be coused by the error of the "unzip.exe" in the packages, I guess.
All install processes are clearly done when I unpack in "D:\CCS5.5.0.00077_win32\ccs_setup_5.5.0.00077.exe",
