Hello,

I am using Windows XP and CCS3v3.

I have followed the instructions in Spectrum Digital support page:

First of all, I installed the drivers, and then unzipped update files from the patch to <ccsv3_install_dir>\drivers directory (replacing the ones which were on that fodler).

Then I plugged the EVM module and I installed the drivers from C:\CCStudio_v3.3\specdig\xds510usb\

In HW device adminsitrator it seems that the driver is properly installed:

In CCS3V3 Setup I have configured the device as follows (as is recomended in the support page mentioned above)

If I run 6713DSK Diagnostics all the tests appears to be OK:

But if I opern CC3v3 the following message appears:

Do you know what could be the problem?

Maybe in CCS Setup I should change the plattform to CDS150USB Emulator? (it's only an innocent idea...)

Hello,

Your screenshots do not appear. Can you repost them?

If you are using the on-board emulator on the DSK, then you should use the one that says "C6713DSK-USB". That one works well for me.

You seem to be setting it correctly. The error indicates some host side communication issues with the embedded JTAG on the DSK. Have you checked the spectrum digital troubleshooting guide (Section3 is for DSKs)

Otherwise unfortunately I don't have much more advice to offer. You may also what to try contacting Spectrum Digital directly for support.

HI,

SD digital support has been completely unusefull for me. Despite I tell them that I have read all the manuals available they sent to me the "Installation guide" that comes with the module...

I have also read the web you suggest and also the software guide and there's no information for my problem.

Does the problem seem to be the driver for xds510usb?

Yes, diagnostics output is:

Trying to connect to the target

Reset board succeeded.
