CCS 6 System Analyser menu is missing

Hello,

I recently got Code Composer Studio 6.0.1.00040 on a windows 7 machine

In the CCS Debug perspective, under Tools there is no menu for System Analyser

I tried on a different, empty, workspace and it didn't work either.

Do you know how to get it back ?

  • It's not possible to update.
    We are a development team that needs to have the same tools with the same versions.
    Also our dev machine is delivered with CCS already installed by our IT guys.

    I haven't heard of or seen such issues myself with CCSv6. Is this issue seen on multiple machines or just one/certain machines?

    Was the CCS 6.0.1 a fresh install or an update of an earlier version of CCS?

  • For now only on my machine, it doesn't affect the machines of my colleagues which have the same setup.

    It's a fresh install on a fresh Windows 7 machine.

    I've tried with a fresh workspace and the problem is still here.

    Where should I look in the installation directory of CCS to compare with the machines of my colleagues ?
    It is related to DVT right ?
    Maybe it's a plugin issue ?

    If it is specific to just this one machine, I wonder if CCS either did not install properly or somehow got corrupted. If it is not too much trouble, it might be best to uninstall and do a clean reinstall of CCS. To uninstall, make sure to completely delete the directory where CCS is currently installed.

    Let us know if the issue persists after a reinstall.
