CCS: Code Composer 7 Installer Crashes on OS X 10.12.3 - "Sierra"

The installer crashes every time with a tclsh EXC_BAD_INSTRUCTION.

    Hi,

    I have installed CCSv7 on the same OS as you but did not run into problems.

    In this case, can you check to see if the installation logs mentioned in section 9.1 of the reference below were created? If so, can you zip them and attach to this thread?

    The installer crashes before even asking where to install. No logging is done. All that I've got is the clash crash log that I posted in my first message.

    Just checked. tclsh runs fine from the terminal.

    I DID find the installer log at /private/tmp/tmp/install_logs/20170131103042/ccs_7.0.0.00043.log

    At the end of the log:
