CCS: How to get CCSv6 or CCSv7 to discovery installed SYS/BIOS

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

I am not able to get CCSv7 to discover and integrate the standalone SYS/BIOS install into the IDE. How is this done?

I also tried this with CCSv6.2 after following the guide for that version and the procedure described also did not work.

What is the correct method for getting SYS/BIOS to be part of CCSv7?

Robert

  • Hi Robert,

Assuming you have a standalone SYS/BIOS installed (and if you do not, you can get a download link to it from the CCS App Center), you need to tell CCS where it is in the below dialog (Window -> Preferences):

Add a discovery path to SYS/BIOS using the 'Add' button and then press the 'Rediscover' button to have CCS detect it. Once detected, you will have the option to 'install' it to CCS.

    Thanks

    This worked correctly.
