Hello,
I am suddenly having problems trying to connect to a board with a TMS320F28035 with an XDS100v1 emulator. Everything was working fine. Now it is not. I have another identical target. It connects, and allows programming just fine. I also have another identical emulator, and it responds the same. Works on one, but not the other. It's like it locked the processor or damaged it or something. I have had this happen in a similar way once before, but I assumed i shorted something out and let the magic smoke out, although I didn't think it was likely.
I get the following errors in the console on CCS Version: 4.1.3.00038. I have some issues with CCSv4 stability, and this could be related to a crash or something.
C28xx: GEL Output: Device Calibration not complete, check if device is unlocked and recalibrate.

C28xx: Trouble Writing Memory Block at 0x3f7c03 on Page 0 of Length 0x291

I am running Win7-64.
Can anyone help?
Thanks,
Dan
Dan,
Unfortunately it sounds like your device is locked. Since you mentioned issues with CCS stability, maybe you interrupted a flash erase process which in turn could cause the password locations to go into an unknown state.
There are some troubleshooting tips you could try first though to see if you can recover. These related threads might help:

If none of the suggestions help and your CSM is indeed locked, you may have to replace the chip on the board.
