CCS/TM4C123GH6PGE: CCS Themes and Colors. One setting I cannot change

Hello everyone. I fill silly for asking this but I've read through forums about it and have seen it in both CCS V7 and V8.

In the picture below there is a white background surrounding this bit of code:

extern "C"
{
    #ifdef DEBUG
    {
        void __error__(char *pcFilename, uint32_t ui32Line)
    }
    #endif
}
#endif

I have went through every single color setting for anything possible to the point of changing anything that looks like this color to a different color.

I know it's not that important but it is rather annoying. Thanks in advance!

Michael,

I believe here we are looking for the inactive code highlighting.

So for me right now DEBUG is not defined so that #ifdef has a grey background.

The option for this is a bit hard to find.

In the preferences dialog click on the show advanced settings at the bottom left. Then go here:

It is in the appearance color options on the right. I have changed this to something ugly. And you can see the change here:
