CCS/TMS320F28333: F2833x variant missing in new project create list

Greetings everyone,

I have:

Code Composer Version: 6.1.0.00104
Compiler Version: TI v6.4.2
XDC tools Version: 3.25.5.94
SYS/BIOS Version: 6.37.5.35

I am creating a new RTSC project in Code Composer and in target select file I could not find F28333 device option to select.

Please help to sort out this problem. How can I create project for F28333.

Hello Assad,

could you install CCS8.1 (I recommend c:\ti\ccs810 folder)?
F28333 is available with a newer compiler tool chains than that you already have.

I am installing code composer v8.1 but can you please suggest what is an appropriate version of compiler tool chain for F28333?

TI v18.1.3.LTS is default for CCS8.1 and is the newest compiler version.

Assad,

If you are starting out with new development and don't have a requirement to stick with a specific version of compiler tools, then using the latest version that comes with CCS 8.1 is a good idea.
