CCS/AWR1642BOOST: Errors In rebuilding the Driver Vital signs Monitoring Demo

The release notes in the lab of vital signs detection says- SDK version 1.1.0.2. Where is 2.0.0.4 mentioned?

Hi,

The version included in automotive toolboxes released in the last 2 years requires sdk 2.x  This version is required for the AWR1642BOOST EVMs with the latest version of the silicon ES2.0

So, first you need to identify what version of silicon is on your board.

Please see this thread that will help you identify if your board has an ES1.0 or ES2.0 silicon

I checked and my board has 502AC written in it, so it should be ES 2.0 for me.

There may be an error in the way you are building the project.

Did you Import the Project in CCS by importing the projectspec files?

\labs\lab0001-driver-vital-signs\vitalSigns_target\vitalsigns_16xx_dss.projectspec

No, I followed the developer guide in the automotive toolbox labs.

I opened CCS in edit perspective.

I then went to projects-> import CCS projects

I then browsed to the correct folder.

It detected 2 files vitalsigns_16xx_dss and vitalsigns_16xx_mss.

Then I selected both these files and clicked finish.

Is this the correct way?

Yes, this is the correct way.

Now, let's consider the SDK version. The Rrelease Notes indicate that SDK 2.0.0.4 is required. Did you install this version?
