Thank you for your post and thank you for your interest in Pspice for TI.

Would you please find the folder %APPDATA%\Cadence\PSpiceTIInstall, zip it up - omitting the files Pspice4TI_setup.exe & TIPSpice.exe - and attach it to this thread using the paper clip icon?

Thank you for uploading the files.
I will submit a support request to the Pspice for TI vendor.

While we wait for the response - probably Monday - could you try uninstalling Pspice for TI, and reinstalling?
I have never seen this error, and I'm guessing something got corrupted.

Do you have any other Cadence tools installed?

The Pspice for TI vendor replied with the following:

The folder consmgr as listed in message does not exist for PSpice for TI standalone installation (c:\cadence\pspiceti), share/pcb/consmgr/techedt.mcf)

This message may come due to conflict with Sigrity installation if user has installed it too. In order to resolve the issue go to Search > Environment Variables. Open the environment variables > PATH and check if it has entry for Sigrity. Remove Sigrity path from PATH variable and now again try PSpice For TI Installation.

This should resolve the problem.

Hello,

I have no other Cadence Tools installed. But, I have Altium 20 and LTSpice installed.

Hereunder is my PATH. As you can see, no trace of Sigrity.

It looks like a tool issue. We are working with Cadence to get this resolved. We may need your help for more information.

Bruno,

Please unzip the following file to <PSpice for TI installation folder>\share\pcb. The resulting folder should be <PSpice for TI installation folder>\share\pcb\consmgr.

consmgr.7z

You can now close and open the project again and the problem should go away.

Bruno,

I was able to open this project and the schematic. However, I do not see any sim profile.

Did you archive the project (File -> Archive) or simply zipped up the project directory? If latter, would you please archive the project and share it?

Without the fix, as soon as I open your project, a _read.log file is created:

With the fix in place, this file is not created when opening your project.

Does it behave differently for you?

I have 2 questions.

1, does this get created when you open the project or when you try to run a sim?

2, would you please insert a screenshot of the content of the directory C:\Cadence\PSpiceTI\share\pcb?

THanks. This answers my question.

I am unable to create sim profiles, nor am I able to see your sim profiles.

Let me check with the developers to see if they have better luck. I'll post something tomorrow.

One last question, after this file is created, you simulation stops? Is there any error message in a separate window?

Yeah, I remember you've posted this last week. Sorry about that.

I got the same error message, when creating new sim profiles.

would you mind zipping up (.7z preferred as the size is smaller) a directory called "capturexxxx" in your Windows temp folder (environment variable %temp%)? This is the crash dump that'll help the developers investigate the issue.
