Hi Yaqian,
Please create and share your project archive following the steps here:

Thanks,
JC
Hi Yaqian,
I don't have any issue simulating this:
Please close PSpice for TI and rename the following folders, then run PSpice for TI again to see if it helps.
C:\cds_spb_home\cdssetup\OrCAD_CaptureTIPSpice_Install
C:\cds_spb_home\cdssetup\OrCAD_PSpiceTIPSpice_Install
Thanks,
JC
Hi Yaqian,
Please try the following as well:
1. Close PSpice for TI application
2. Click on Start > type "regedit". This will open your registry editor.
3. Delete the key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Orcad\CaptureTIPSpice_Install , Right click and Delete
4. Reopen PSpice for TI application and check
Thanks,
JC
Yaqian,
Please make sure your project is in a folder where you have write permission.
Please check if you have the file "PSpice.ini" in C:\cds_spb_home\cdssetup\OrCAD_PSpiceTIPSpice_Install\17.4.0.
Please also check if you have the file "devparam.txt" in C:\Cadence\PSpiceTI\tools\pspice\library.
Thanks,
JC
Hi Yaqian,
Your first screenshot is not for the location I asked for. I asked for C:\Cadence\PSpiceTI\tools\pspice\library but you are showing C:\Cadence\SPB_17.2\tools\pspice\library. Please check C:\Cadence\PSpiceTI\tools\pspice\library.
Also, please provide the error message in its entirety. The screenshot only shows part of it:
Thanks,
JC
C:\cadence doesn't have PSpice folder.
and the following is the whole session log.
INFO(ORCAP-2191): Creating PSpice Netlist
INFO(ORNET-1041): Writing PSpice Flat Netlist C:\yaqian\Pspice\resistors-PSpiceFiles\SCHEMATIC1\SCHEMATIC1.net
INFO(ORNET-1169): Unable to open the property mapping file: devparam.txt. To resolve this problem, ensure that PSpice.ini exists at the correct location. After that check Library Path in simulation settings contains <installation-path>/tools/pspice/library path and then create the netlist again.
INFO(ORNET-1162): Unable to create design property file.
Hi Yaqian,
The problem is, while you first screenshot clearly indicates that you were using PSpice for TI, your latest screenshot shows that it is not installed in the typical folder. I need to know where it is installed in order to look for the file that the error message is complaining about.
Please identify the installation directory by checking the property of the shortcut which you use to start PSpice for TI. I am looking for the text in blue (Target) like this:
Thanks,
JC
Hi Yaqian,
Thanks. Please check if the file "devparam.txt" is in C:\users\yding\PSpice TI\tools\pspice\library.
You can also try deleting C:\cds_spb_home\cdssetup\OrCAD_PSpiceTIPSpice_Install\17.4.0\PSpice.ini to see if it helps.
Thanks,
JC
