Hi Experts,
Seeking on your assistance from Cx query.
With this post shared:
They are using PSpice tool and would like to import a .cir device from other manufacturer. After renaming the extension of the .cir file to .lib, the next step is associating a symbol. The free version of Pspice feature several libraries such as breakout.olb to pick a symbol from.
"Searching throughout alla the libraries though wasn't able to find a symbol which matches the SOIC-8. Figure out that I have to create one but the next question is: how can we do that? Where can I find the Symbol Editor?
Do I have to buy the full Pspice?"
For your assistance please.

Archie A.
Hi Archie,
Please review the video mentioned in this post: (+) [FAQ] PSPICE-FOR-TI: How do I import a 3rd-party model into PSpice for TI? - Simulation, hardware & system design tools forum - Simulation, hardware & system design tools - TI E2E support forums

Hello JC,
Thanks for replying, Cx responded:
Well, last reply didn't clear the last point we've ask for. It remains the following doubt: is there any "symbol editor"?
If I can't find any symbol in the libraries already installed which matches the pinout I have to create a suitable one.
The video you mentioned doesn't explain this point. If you can clear up this point would be great.
Thank you.
