I can help with explaining the purpose of L18 and R85 in the control pilot interface.  The PLC and PWM parts of the CP have to be divided by a low pass filter. This filter circuit is described in the ISO15118-3:2015. The filter consists of an Inductor (typ. 220uH) and a damping resistor (typ. 220 Ohm) in parallel.
