Hi Sir
We are using simulators for unit testing a particular target. We need simulator for c7x target.
Is it available with ccs compiler? If available please let us know which version of ccs supports this
Thanks
Jeslin

Jeslin,
TI does not provide simulators for C7x. However we do provide a host emulation library as part of the compiler toolchain to compile c7x intrinsics for x86 emulation (Refer to: https://www.ti.com/lit/ug/spruig6i/spruig6i.pdf)

Hi Varun
If I generate a simple hello world example using the C7000 compiler
How do I then run it using the “host_emulation”?
Thanks
Jeslin
Jeslin,
Host emulation provides a way to emulate c7x instructions on an x86 PC. You can follow the steps in the documentation linked above to compile your C7x program with g++/gcc and link to the host emulation library provided by TI and run it as a regular program on your x86 PC.
