Hi,
I've tried this on 3 machines - my work desktop, work laptop and home win 11 machine. They all halt during installation right after I put in the key with the Internal Error. I had a little more luck running as admin on my desktop but I had to run it as admin to get it to work after the installation which I don't want to do.
Here's the error:
Here's the log file:

I do get a bunch of output when running : wmic bios get at the command prompt - at least on 2 of the machines, so we'll only consider those 2.
I'm not sure what else to try. I need to get this running since I have to simulate the TPS50601A and it's been removed from Webench.

Hi Ryan,
Many users are running into this problem. We are actively working on a solution. I'll contact you once we have a fix implemented.
Regards,
David
Hi Ryan,
Are you still having this problem?
At least one person has reported that they've been able to install PSpice.
David
I gave up after a complete day of attempts on 3 computers. I got TINA-TI to work and the models provided seem to be working so far. I'm getting different values for the compensation network and inductor than WEBench gave me (from the spreadsheet), but I'll re-do all my supplies and then the hardware will tell me the rest.
Hi Ryan,
I apologize for the difficulty. TINA and PSpice models are basically identical. If you are seeing a problem with the matching between Webench and TINA, please contact through E2E the product line of the part in question. They should know the particulars of the delta.
David
So the problem with PSpice is that it won't install on any computer I have. And I can't compare anything to Webench because you removed support for the part I'm using from Webench which is what caused all this. So hopefully, TINA is giving me accurate results.
And how do I find this user that has the potential fix for the PSpice installation issue?
Sorry, I thought it was part of this thread. TPS50601A-SP is the part. I was told it was removed from Webench, and indeed, I don't see it there any more.
Let's see what the space cowboys have to say about this. I wonder if there's a part with similar architecture that is in Webench. Surely, they would know.
Hi Ryan,
The Webench support for the part was dropped due to issues we found in the Webench model.
Currently, we recommend using the excel calculator found on the device product page (SLVRBG4) and the TINA or PSPICE models that are also on the device product page.
Thanks,
Andy
