Hi,
Here I attached the TSC file.
In actual circuit I use VS1 as a replacement of DAC to control the output voltage of TPS43061.
But I found in simulator that it didn't matter what value I set the VS1, the VM1 was always 5.2V. Even if I erased the R8 and VS1 components.
Sainer
Sainer,
There are a couple of issues here:
1. Your SS cap is too large so your soft start time will also be large. If you only simulate for 1ms, you will not see any switching. I would recommend that for simulation purpose you either reduce the SS cap (preferable for simulation time) or increase the time for which you run the simulation.
2. You have used the default simulation parameters in TINA-TI. We have released the TPS43061 TINA-TI Reference design with customized simulation parameters for optimum simulation of this device. I would recommend that you use that file and copy and paste your schematic into that file to simulate.
In this case, I simply changed the time step to 20ns so that the simulator does not miss any switching (Analysis >> Set Analysis Parameters >> Change "TR maximum time step" to 20n). Let me know if you have any issues. My updated TSC file is attached.
Thanks,
