TINA/Spice/SN74LVC2G34-EP: IBIS Model

Part Number: SN74LVC2G34-EP
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TINA-TI, SN74LVC2G34,

Tool/software: TINA-TI or Spice Models

Can the standard SN74LVC2G34.ibs model be used for the SN74LVC2G34-EP device? Are there any differences in the EP part that would impact the ibis model?

  • Hi Steve,

You can use the non EP model. The EP has an extended temp range which might impact the corner models, but not the nominal.

For this device, the EP extends down to -55C, as opposed to -40C for the catalog device.

The max model has highest voltage, all strong silicon models, and lowest temp. The is very conservative, so further lowering the temp to -55C, while in simulation might result is a small change in the IBIS model, in the actual application, isn't a strong consideration.

    Good luck with your design,
