TIDA-00281: Motor Controller input using both Potentiometer and Reed Switch Input for Electric Bicycles

I'm developing an electric bicycle that runs on a 48Volt 250Watt BLDC Motor which needs to be spun with a throttle control (Potentiometer) as well as Pedal Assist Mode (an input from Reed Switch attached at the pedaling position of a bicycle, which gives signals based on the pedaling RPM)

I would like to understand if we can use this module TIDA-00281 to configure for the above requirement or kindly suggest for suitable module.
