Hi All,

I am interested to develop a Single Phase Whole Current Smart Meter with DLMS / COSEM protocol for Data communication. Kindly provide me a Reference design which i can buy which supports this requirement.

I have a question that does it requires an RTOS to be running on the meter as well.

Thank you for your post. For a single phase smart meter, I would recommend getting started with our EVM430-F6736. On the software side, we offer the following TI Designs that you may find helpful.

Regarding DLMS/COSEM, we are no longer supporting the old DLMS library in the public domain. We will be supporting a newer DLMS library directly for customers depending upon the opportunity/project. Hi James,

Thank you for the reply. I would like to buy an evaluation kit and try it.

Secondly I found an reference designs as well, can I use these designs for manufacturing or do I have to pay anything there.

Secondly, I would like to know regarding the DLMS libraries, how to get them installed on them. How much does it cost for that as well.

Hello,

The TIDM-SINGLEPHASEMETER is a TI Design based on the EVM430-F6736. For some EVMs, we may have several different TI Designs (with different software implementations, for example) based on the same EVM (hardware). You can find all the design files that you mentioned on the TIDM-SINGLEPHASEMETER product page.
