TINA/Spice/UCC3813-4: TINA-TI Startup / Steady State Reference Design

Part Number: UCC3813-4
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TINA-TI,

Tool/software: TINA-TI or Spice Models

Hi,

Why does Startup and Steady State exist for TINA-TI Reference Design of UCC 3814 and other AC / DC cotrolars?

Thanks

  • Hi,

Normally we apply Load ,Line transient and do other tests (like current limit) once a device reach it's steady state.

As Startup simulation takes ~5-10 minutes to reach steady state, we try to provide a separate steady state simulation test bench where you can see device's steady state behavior quickly(~ 2minutes).

Below are the simulation results for UCC3813-4 Startup and Steady State test benches.

    Startup:

    Steady:

  • Dear Mr.Saket,

    Thanks for your information.

I understand that it is separating types for shortening of time.

In addition, thank you for the simulation results.
