TINA/Spice/LM5005: LM5005

Part Number: LM5005
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TINA-TI

Tool/software: TINA-TI or Spice Models

Hi,

I am unable to convert the unencrypted model to SABER model as some of the files are missing in the .LIB file. Can you please provide the complete unencrypted model.

  • Hi Naveen,

We support our models on only TINA-TI and PSpice tools. The PSpice compatible unencrypted model is available on web at www.ti.com/.../snvmal0
I cross-checked it and the unencrypted lib file available on web is able to simulate the PSpice model properly.
I believe you need something additional to the model in your tool which is missing. Unfortunately we do not support on that tool.
I regret for the inconvenience caused.

    Thanks & Regards,
    Abhisek
  • Hi Naveen,

To follow-up on Abhishek's comment, the model on the web is complete for PSpice. There is a way to import unencrypted PSpice models into Saber which is described in the following video:

However there may be cases where the import process is not seamless. In such cases, I would recommend that you contact Synopsys support here:
